About

I'm a writer and photographer. I currently live and work in Boston, doing my best to write about what matters.

Current and past work includes: Living & Arts staff writer and music critic for The Boston Globe. Previously, I reported on Massachusetts' state government for the State House News Service. My writing has been featured in various outlets, including NPR, WBUR, POLITICO, Masslive, Commonwealth Magazine, The Berkshire Eagle, and The Lowell Sun.

During my time at Northeastern University, I had the chance to write two feature stories on the ground in Cuba. I also served as the music director of WRBB 104.9 FM, the school’s student-run radio station. I was also city editor of Northeastern’s independent newspaper, The Huntington News.

Outside of this, I host a bi-weekly variety radio program that discusses new music, current events and Latinx culture. It airs on Wednesdays from 9 to 10 pm EST on loafradio.net. I love to cook, read, listen to podcasts, and [sometimes] run.
